The video also shows Darshan seated with curtains and clothes visible in the background. The emergence of this photo and video has led to concerns about potential lapses in prison security.
In response to these concerns, DG Malini Krishnamurthy has mandated an investigation, directing the review of CCTV footage and the interrogation of other suspects involved. The investigation aims to address the allegations of preferential treatment and ensure appropriate action is taken.
