CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Responds Sharply to Allegations Over His US Education Expenses

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has responded firmly to allegations and criticism surrounding expenses related to his higher education in the United States. He clarified that he did not rely on family financial support to study abroad, and instead completed his education through a merit scholarship provided by Boston University along with an education loan he had taken. Speaking to a prominent news channel, he explained that he is currently repaying the EMIs on that education loan on a regular basis.

This controversy surfaced after Surat-based RTI activist Amit Tiwari recently demanded that various investigative agencies probe Abhijeet Dipke’s family financial affairs and his foreign education expenses. Responding sharply to these allegations, CJP spokesperson Vaishnavi Gaur questioned why those raising baseless questions over a young leader’s personal education expenses were not instead focusing on other instances of fund misuse and irregularities occurring in the education sector across the country.

At the same time, Abhijeet Dipke also offered clarity on the transparency of funds received by the party. He said that in the future, the party would raise donations directly from the public solely through crowdfunding, and that every single rupee would be transparently accounted for and disclosed publicly. He recalled that during the prolonged struggle against the NEET question paper leak, people had voluntarily come forward to support protesters by providing food and drinking water.

Following the recent series of protests, Abhijeet Dipke said the responsibility on his party has grown further. He revealed that in the coming days, the CJP team will be expanded further in pursuit of public issues, particularly the rights of students. Expressing concern that quality education in the country is becoming so expensive that it is out of reach for ordinary and poor people, he announced that the movement for reforms in the education and employment sectors would be intensified nationwide in the coming days. He demanded that the Maharashtra government immediately withdraw the criminal FIRs it had registered, without restraint, against students who were peacefully fighting for their rights. He cautioned that portraying students as criminals was not right. Separately, Dipke — who continues to fight relentlessly on public issues — also showcased his affectionate side by organizing a special celebration with young children in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on the occasion of Friendship Day.

Key Meeting on August 5

The Cockroach Janata Party has turned its full attention toward its future course of action. A key meeting of the CJP core committee is set to be held on the 5th of this month (August 5) at Abhijeet Dipke’s residence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Ahead of this meeting, core committee members have decided to gather inputs from volunteers across various districts and leaders of student organizations.

At this key meeting on August 5, discussions will focus extensively on how to pressure the central and state governments into withdrawing the improper cases registered against students, and how to take the movement to the grassroots level. Following the conclusion of this meeting, a media conference will be held to officially announce the party’s future plans and details of its next agitation.

Separately, in the wake of the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak controversy that caused a major nationwide uproar, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has become alert. The NTA has taken a key decision to tighten examination security to the highest level. It has invited tenders worth approximately Rs 7.5 crore to provide round-the-clock, 24-hour security for its headquarters, regional offices, server rooms, strong rooms, and question paper storage centers. The agency has made clear that bids for this security, housekeeping, and secure printing (printing with security-compliant standards) tender process — to be implemented over a two-year contract period — will be accepted until August 17.
