A major commotion broke out in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Unknown assailants attacked Abhijit Deepke, the founder of the Kakroach Janata Party, in broad daylight on a public road. The incident occurred while he was peacefully protesting against government policies along with his supporters. A young man suddenly rushed into the demonstration and repeatedly slapped Abhijit Deepke in full public view, causing widespread chaos on the spot.
Kakroach Janata Party workers had organized a large-scale protest near the Martyrs’ Memorial in Jaipur. Party leader Abhijit Deepke arrived at the protest venue during the course of the event. Just as he was entering, an unexpected turn of events unfolded. An unidentified young man from the crowd suddenly lunged at Abhijit and struck him hard across the face, then immediately fled the scene. Deepke’s shocked supporters and party workers attempted to apprehend the youth, but he managed to escape without being caught.
The attack instantly created a highly charged atmosphere at the protest site. Kakroach Janata Party workers expressed outrage and raised slogans following the assault on their leader. However, to prevent the situation from spiraling out of control, Abhijit Deepke quickly stepped in and urged workers not to take the law into their own hands, asking everyone to maintain peace. Police, upon receiving information, arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. Authorities are currently searching for the absconding attacker. Such attacks during political protests have sparked significant debate locally.
