In Malappuram district’s Pandikkal, Congress-led UDF workers have prepared biryani for nearly 5,000 people, expecting a victory. Party leaders said 16 large cooking vessels have been arranged for the purpose. A massive tent has also been set up in the town for distributing food and hosting supporters, with confidence boosted by exit polls suggesting a possible return of the UDF to power after a decade of LDF rule.
Meanwhile, in Kochi, the Bharatiya Janata Party is also preparing for celebrations. Party workers said hundreds of laddoos have been ordered in advance, as they believe this election could help the party open its account in Kerala. Leaders have expressed optimism about winning seats in constituencies such as Nemom, Kallakkulam, Manjeshwar, and Palakkad.
Overall, the election results in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry will be declared tomorrow, determining the political future of these regions. Authorities have tightened security arrangements across all counting centres to prevent any untoward incidents during the process.
