Telangana Jagruthi president and MLC K. Kavitha has given clarity regarding the formation of a new political party. Responding to questions from the media on when she would announce a new party, Kavitha stated that she has not taken any decision yet. However, she admitted that there is a strong demand from women urging her to launch a new political party.
Kavitha remarked that launching a new party is not a big task, but it should be one that focuses on solving people’s problems. Her comments have sparked speculation that she may soon announce a new party. It may be recalled that she was suspended from the BRS party following internal differences.

Since her suspension, Kavitha has been expanding her activities under the banner of Telangana Jagruthi. At present, she is touring several districts across the state through the “Jagruthi Janam Baata” programme, highlighting what she calls the failures of the current government and questioning the performance of previous administrations.
