Security agencies probing the Delhi bomb blast have intensified their investigation, leading to a major development. Authorities have demolished the house of Umar Nabi, the suspected terrorist who drove the explosive-laden car and is considered the prime accused in the case. The demolition was carried out past midnight on Thursday at his residence in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, according to official sources.

Umar Nabi emerged as the key figure behind the Red Fort blast after evidence confirmed he was driving the vehicle at the time of the explosion. CCTV footage aided in his identification, and investigators uncovered his links to a wider terror module. Preliminary inquiries revealed that the terrorists arrested earlier in Faridabad had connections with Umar, who reportedly fled from there and reached Delhi before executing the suicide attack.

Officials initially suspected that Umar died in the blast, given that he was behind the wheel of the vehicle. To verify this, investigators collected DNA samples from his mother in Pulwama. Recent forensic results have confirmed a DNA match with the remains recovered from the car, establishing that Umar Nabi was indeed inside the vehicle when it exploded.
