Highlighting India’s commitment to citizen protection, Murmu noted that Operation Sindhoor served as a significant test case for the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission in defense, reinforcing that the country is progressing in the right direction.

On youth empowerment, the President underscored the rapid growth of employment opportunities and lauded the National Education Policy 2020 for integrating values, skills, and traditional knowledge to bring transformative changes to education. Regarding India’s space program, President Murmu reflected on her visit to the Subhash Shukla International Space Centre, calling it an inspiring experience, and expressed confidence that the upcoming crewed space mission, Gaganyaan, would benefit from the advancements and motivation fostered through such initiatives.
